Project 365 - 19 and 20 of 365

This past weekend we headed to West Virginia to celebrate Maw Maw's 73rd birthday. Happy Birthday Maw Maw!!!!

---19 March, 2011 --- (19 of 365)
MawMaw meeting Tristyn for the very first time - what a special birthday present for her.  Tristyn is our family's miracle baby.  He was born 24 weeks premature in August while our family was at Busch Gardens. We are so glad he is healthy and home!  As you can see from the picture, he is absolutely adorable!!!
Tristyn and Tucker meeting for the first time.  Tucker looks like a giant compared to Baby T.

MawMaw with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  A few were missing - hopefully one of these days we can get pictures of all of us with her.
MawMaw with the lil boys - Isaiah, Tucker, Tristyn, Marshall and Cooper.  Don't worry MawMaw wasn't dropping T, Seth and Aunt Lura were holding him from the bottom.  Talk about hard work trying to get them all to look at the camera at the same time - this was the best one we got.  I think it is cute!
 Uncle Aaron and his boys!
Nina and Gramps with their boys!
Family photo op! My mom bought all of the boys their cute matching shirts just for the pictures.
My family!  Love them!  Heather butt showed us her belly to make us all laugh! Haha!

---20 March, 2011 --- (20 of 365)  Sunday was a beautiful day so we spent it outside on the farm with family.
MawMaw and Tucker - Tucker loves his MawMaw!

Cooper holding a couple baby turkeys.  The babies are only 5 days old. I was surprised how gentle Cooper was with them.
While exploring on the four wheeler, Cooper and Gramps stumbled upon beaver territory.
We never found the dam or live beavers - but it was very interesting to see how a beaver can chew down such huge trees.
Gramps & Cooper - pretty much inseparable!
Gramps, Cooper and I ended our afternoon with a little rock throwing.  Cooper loves my Grandparent's farm and cries when it is time to go home. I am so glad he shares my love for it - it is one of my favorite places on earth!

Recap of the Week

---Tuesday, 15 March, 2011 --- (15 of 365)

Tucker was diagnosed with a double ear infection on Monday, so he got to stay home with Momma.    We had a great day together - makes me wish I got to stay home with him full time.  This working stuff is for the birds!  I am trying very hard to get back into the swing of things at work.  Its hard to remain focused when meetings and emails seem so insignificant when it compares to my baby's smiles.  But unfortunately my baby's smiles do not pay the bills - if they did I would be rich!

---Wednesday, 16 March, 2011 --- (16 of 365)
Tucker playing in his activity center - he loves exploring all the toys on it and could spend hours playing in it.

This picture captures my typical greeting from Cooper every evening when he gets home.  He is so happy to see me and can't wait to tell me how much he loves and misses me.  He is definitely a Momma's boy or as he calls me Ma!

---Thursday, 17 March, 2011 --- (17 of 365)
Yesterday was a jammed packed day - Cooper ENT appointment, Tucker 6 month check-up, Grammy's birthday and St. Patrick's Day.

Cooper went to see the ENT to have his tubes removed.  The tubes popped out a couple of days earlier due to the sinus infection and unfortunately lodged into his ear canal. Cooper was very brave about getting his tubes out and did not shed one tear. The doctor also noticed he had a double ear infection - which could explain the fevers, whining, restless nights and balance issues.  The doctor is recommending that Cooper get a second set of tubes and have his adenoids removed.    We have a follow-up appointment in a month to discuss in more detail.  I followed up with the pediatrican regarding the ENT's recommendation. She reviewed Cooper's file and counted that he has had 7 ear infections with the tubes.  Ugh! Looks like another surgery is in his future!

Tucker turned 6 months old! I can't believe my baby is getting so big - where does the time go?  Tucker had his wellness appointment and an ear check to see how his ear infection from Monday was healing.  The pediatirican was very pleased with his developmental skills and said he was ahead!  She also said the ears looked great - yeah!  Here are his 6 months stats -
Weight - 20 lbs 1 oz (90th percentile)
Height - 27 3/4 inches (90th percentile)
Head Circumference - 18 1/4 inches (130th percentile)
The pediatrician wants to watch his head growth over the next few months to ensure it levels off.  If it does not, then we will need to get a CT scan to ensure everything is normal.  However, the doctor said she was not too worried since a) he is very proportional and a large baby and b) he is ahead of where he should be developmentally.  Therefore she believes it is just genetic and he is going to have a huge noggin'.  Tucker has my father's big head (shape and size exactly) so I am pretty sure it is genetic!  This weekend I will try to get a picture of Gramps holding Tucker so you can see what I mean. Love ya Gramps!

Happy St. Patrick's Day from Tucker & Cooper!!!  My boys look adorable in their green!

St. Patty's Day is also Grammy's birthday.  I love this picture of Grammy, Cooper, Payton and Maddie in their crowns.  Happy Birthday Grammy!  We had a blast celebrating with you!!!!

---Friday, 18 March, 2011 --- (18 of 365)
Cooper showing off his crocodile shirt this morning.  Crocodiles are his favorite animal right now thanks to Peter Pan. He even loves giving crocodile hugs!  If you are not sure what that is just ask him the next time you see him and he will gladly give you one!

Project 365 - 14 of 365

Cooper always has one sock on and one sock off.  He starts with two on, but within five minutes he ends up this way and it's always with the same feet.  We are not sure why?  Just one of his strange little habits!

Project 365 - 11, 12 and 13 of 365

I took a picture every day just did not have the time to post them.  So here is a wrap up of the weekend...

---Friday, 11 March, 2011 ---  (11 of 365)
We (Cooper and I) have caught the crude. Ugh!!!

---Saturday, 12 March, 2011 --- (12 of 365)
Cooper and Tucker played together for the larger part of Saturday.  It's adorable to see them interacting with each other.  I can only imagine what it will be like in a couple of years - I can't wait!

---Sunday, 13 March, 2011 --- (13 of 365)
Tucker during our normal morning photo shoot.  Momma did not get one smile, but I love this face.  Turns out Tucker is coming down with crude also....poor sweet baby!

Uncle Aaron brought Cooper tons of trinkets from Mardi Gras.  Of course one of his favorites would be a fake stogy.  Haha!  He promised not to inhale!

Uncle Aaron moved into his new apartment this weekend.  The boys are hooking up Aaron's new tv - even Cooper is helping!  Cooper loved Uncle Aaron's apartment! Cooper couldn't stop naming off the things he and Uncle Aaron would do if only Momma would ever let them have a boys night.  Just to name a few - jump on the bed, play Farkle, drink beer, eat as many cheese sticks as they wanted - the list goes on.

Also, on Sunday I got to slip away for a couple of hours and attend an old friend's, Arica, baby shower.  She looked great and got tons of nice gifts.  It was great catching up with Arica and Sara - I really miss our chats and girls nights!

Too cute not to share! Tucker in his baby elephant hat this morning!

Project 365 - 9 of 365

---Wednesday, 9 March, 2011 ----

Tucker ready to go to the babysitter.  He loves his sitter!

Tucker and Allie

Allie and her boys.

Tucker is almost the same size as Cooper and he is only 5 1/2 months.  As you can see from Cooper's coloring he is a little under the weather.

Cooper stayed home sick - he has a sinus infection and issues with his tubes.  He is playing with his Disney CARS racetrack that Uncle Mike and Aunt Lura got him for Christmas.  It permanently stays on the coffee table.

Allie & Cooper snuggling as they watch Thomas the Train movie.

Allie volunteered to cook us dinner! Heck ya!  Her lasagna was delicious!

Daddy and Tucker just before bed!  Tucker is trying very hard to say DaDa right now.  Corey is so excited since Cooper's first word was Momma!

Project 365 - 8 of 365

--- Tuesday, 8 March 2011 ---
Laundry! Laundry! Laundry!  Ever since Tucker was born the washing machine and dryer go nonstop at our house, but somehow I still can't keep up!  As I am sure it is the case with most mother's, but my clothes are always the first to get pushed to the side and the last to get washed. I did laundry all weekend and never got to my clothes - hence the 4 lovely piles pictured above. I was ranting to Corey this weekend about my dilemma!  I am very excited, he found me a new cleaning service that does laundry!  We are trying them out in two weeks - hooray!  Hopefully this will take a little burden off me since the laundry fairy went on strike!

Project 365 - 7 of 365

--- Monday, 7 March, 2011 ---

Cooper trying to help Tucker with his breakfast bottle.

Tucker in his new outfit from Nina!

Cooper had a mishap with playdough at school so they sent him home looking like this...
We explained to Cooper that mid-drifts were not boy appropriate and the shirt was way to small for him.  He stated that he liked it and insisted on keeping the shirt on for the rest of the night.  Corey just shakes his head. Haha!

Allie is spending a couple days of her spring break with us.  We are so glad she is here!  Cooper loved Allie reading him "I Can Read With My Eyes Shut" before bed.

Project 365 - 6 of 365

---Sunday, March 6, 2011 ---

It was a very rainy day yesterday - it poured nonstop!  We ventured out to Stoneybrook Farmers Market and Costco.  By the time we got home we were soaked to the bone - should have taken a picture of that but didn't want to get the camera wet. The best part of our Sunday was watching Disney movies and snuggling with the cats on the couch.

Project 365 - 5 of 365

These pictures summarize our lazy Saturday, 5 March, 2011...

Tucker thinks he is a big boy at 5 months - he already wants to hold his own bottle.  He is growing up so fast!

After Corey read Cooper five books first thing in the morning, our book worm still needed more so he read Jack and the Beanstalk on his V-Reader (thanks Aunt Beth).

Tucker is all smiles while he and his daddy dance to the new Kei$ha song.

Cooper found the box that my new camera came in.  He was fascinated by the peanuts and couldn't resist jumping in.

Grammy, Poppy, and Maddie came over in the afternoon to hang out.  It took Tucker a while to warm up to Grammy and Poppy - not sure if we are starting the "afraid of strangers" phase. Once he got over his fear he was back to his smiley self and had fun playing with Grammy & Poppy.

Cooper and Maddie went on a kite flying expedition with Grammy and Poppy. Go Navy!  Unfortunately the wind didn't cooperate so they had fun on the playground equipment instead.

Week 1 of the 365 Project

---Friday, 4 March, 2011 --- (4 of 365)
Tucker & Cooper at our morning photo session.  Cooper hates to have his picture taken and gets very annoyed with me and my camera.  This was the best picture I could get of the two boys.  Not the best, but I will take it!

This picture makes me crack up!  Tucker thinks it is absolutely hysterical when Cooper cries.  Cooper was crying beside me because I had reprimanded him for not listening.  Let's just say the crying didn't last long when Cooper saw that his little brother thought it was funny!  They both were laughing in the end!

---Thursday, 3 March, 2011 --- (3 of 365)
Tucker giving Momma a quick smile during his morning play time.  He loves playing with his toys and could care less for tummy time.  Unfortunately mean ole' Momma makes him do his exercises before he can play.

--- Wednesday, 2 March, 2011 --- (2 of 365)
Tucker's favorite toy is his feet.  He especially loves to eat his toes.

Cooper celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday with the Cat and the Hat.

--- Tuesday, 1 March, 2011 --- (1 of 365)

Momma and Cooper had a cupcake fight tonight - guess who won!?!  I wasn't too bad. My kitchen is another story! Five minutes of fun = 45 minutes of clean-up for Momma. So I guess if you look at it from that perspective Cooper won! He had a blast that's all that matters!

Reinventing the Blog

So, I have been a complete slacker with the blog since the birth of our second son, Tucker.  I have tons of pictures documenting what has been going on with our family over the past 6 months, but unfortunately just have not found the time to update the blog.  No one told me how much work and time two kids take...

A friend (thanks Heather for the idea) recommended that  I start a 365 blog.  A 365 blog is where you take one picture a day for one full year hence the 365 blog name. I do not want to start a new blog and lose the content from our current one so I have decided to reinvent it.

I will back track a little with the pictures since I started on March 1st but had not had a chance to write up this little blurb.  Hope everyone enjoys and hope I can stick with it!

Presenting the Seven Dwarfs

If you can't get the video to work try this link - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whxU0yupd3s

Off to Work We Go...

Cooper's school put on the Academy Awards program for the parents last week. It was adorable. The infant/toddler class performed 101 Dalmatians, the 2's (Cooper's Class) presented Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the 3's performed Lion King, the Pre-K class presented Madagascar, and the Private K performed Happy Feet. As you can see from the pictures below Cooper was one of the Dwarfs, not sure which one he was suppose to be exactly, my guess is Happy since he was all smiles the entire performance. He never saw me in the crowd even though he was searching high and low.He is very proud of his performance and likes to watch it over and over on our tv and computer. As soon as I get the movie uploaded onto YouTube I will post another blog entry.

SPIDER - EEK!!!

Just too funny not to share - I love his expressions in this video. He is obsessed with spiders and thinks it is hilarious to scare people with them. Last weekend Corey took Cooper to the store and told him he could get one toy - he picked out a remote control spider so he could scare Momma! He has such a big imagination!

A-B-C's

This is Cooper singing his A-B-C's at 2 Years Old!!! Momma and Daddy are very proud!!!!

Twinkle Twinkle

Cooper was showing off last night so I grabbed the video camera. He loves singing nursery rhymes and knows the words to all of them!

Water Slides @ Cancun

This video was taken while we were at Cancun this past January - Cooper was 18 Months. The kid has no fear, which is very scary for Momma!!! We head to Water Country next weekend should be very interesting to see what new tricks he has up his sleeve now that six months has passed.

Oldies but Goodies

I was cleaning off the video camera tonight and found some oldie but goodies of Cooper. I can't believe this was five months ago - his vocabulary has really grown!
