Let it Snow - Holiday Program

To kick off the holidays Cooper's school had a holiday program for the parents and family members.  Cooper's class sang "Let it Snow".  The picture below is when Cooper first spotted us.  He was very excited because this was the first show his Daddy could attend.  So excited he forgot to sing and his moves!

Here is Cooper and his best friend Jake!  Jake is Cooper's PIC (partner in crime) and "Mom, he likes UVA too". Plus I think he is the only kid in Cooper's class who has more flexible/bendable ears than him.  Hehe!

Nice or Naughty???

Cooper's reaction to his email from Santa telling him if he was on the Nice or Naughty list.  He was very relieved he was on the Nice list and glad "he turned things around at the end and did what worked" - his words not mine.

Trimming the Tree

Holiday Jig

The boys and I were blasting Christmas music at 6 AM this morning.  Cooper decided to do a little jig and thankfully I had the camera rolling.

We celebrated Christmas at MawMaw's the first weekend of 2010 with the crew - MawMaw, Nana, Gramps, Uncle Aaron, Uncle Mike, Aunt Lura, Cassie, Seth, Uncle Chris, Aunt Stacy, Campbell, Uncle Dave, Aunt Traci, Hannah, Isaiah, Jenna-Claire, Jean & Ed Clark, Jeannie, Lee, Jessie and Allie. We missed you Heather and Madison!

We had such a good time hanging out with everyone - we need to have family weekends more often!! Thanks for all of the wonderful gifts - Cooper is so spoiled and blessed to have a family who loves him so much!!!! And so am I!!!!

Christmas at Grammy & Poppy's

We celebrated Christmas with Grammy, Poppy and Kalli on December 30th and 31st. We had a wonderful time hanging out, relaxing, opening gifts, playing games and eating lots of yummy food! Cooper even slept in a big boy bed for both nights - he went right down for the night and never tried to escape. Here are some pictures of us opening our gifts -

Smith Christmas

So this is Cooper's Christmas number ??? - I have lost count already and we are not even close to being finished. The kid is going to think everyday is a Christmas celebration and that he gets presents!!

We unfortunately missed the Smith Christmas get together this year - there was just too much running around this holiday season for us. Nana, Gramps, and Uncle Aaron were Santa's helpers ensuring our gifts got to the kiddies and Cooper's gifts got to our house. Cooper got some awesome gifts: a Dump Truck, Old McDonald Puzzle, ABC Fridge Toy, Elmo doll, Elmo Seek and Find Book, Sit and Spin and a Recorder. Thanks everyone!!! We really hate that we missed visiting with everyone and the sledding activities!!!

Cooper absolutely loves Brasco! They were inseparable all weekend! Brasco is wonderful with kids and lets Cooper do anything and everything to him.

Family Pictures on Christmas Day

Cooper was taking a nap so we decided to take family pictures. We thought once Cooper woke up we would take more, unfortunately Cooper did not want to take family photos this year.

Round 3 - Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve Nana, Gramps, MawMaw, Brasco and Uncle Aaron came to our house for the long holiday weekend! It was wonderful getting to spend so much time with them. Cooper loved having his family at his house - especially Brasco!

For Christmas Eve dinner we had ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, baked apples and rolls. After dinner we let Cooper get an early taste of Christmas before Santa came. We let him open his stockings and three gifts - an Elmo steering wheel, Elmo and Grover dolls.

Our Christmas Tree - the gate kept Cooper out of the tree but no such luck for the cats.
