Backlogged....

I'm behind on blogging/posting, but I am still taking my camera everywhere (well almost everywhere)!

Friday, 20 May - 80 of 365
Story time right before bed!
Side note, took Tucker back to the doctor today because his ears were still bleeding from surgery. Doctor said his ears were severely infected and he needs to be on the antibiotic drops for another 6 more days.  If the infection does not subside by next Wednesday then he will need to prescribe a strong oral antibiotic.  So we are on the look out for high fevers, hopefully this is the worst of things!

Thursday, 19 May - 79 of 365
Everyone says Tucker is a mini Cooper...The first picture is of Tucker at 8 months in the same outfit that Cooper wore for his 9 months pictures below.  I see the resemblance and can tell they are brothers, but do not think they look identical!

Wednesday, 18 May - 78 of 365
Tucker is trying to walk before he crawls.  Should be any day now....  He is starting to rock on all fours and almost can pull himself up!  He's getting so big - I am not ready for my baby to grow up so quickly!

Tuesday, 17 May - 77 of 365
Tucker Shea is 8 months old!!!! To celebrate his 8 month milestone he had surgery - he got tubes!  Surgery was a success! The doctor was very glad we decided to proceed with the tube surgery since there was a significant amount of fluid and puss behind his ear drums.  Poor little guy!

Monday, 16 May - 76 of 365
The baby robins under our deck hatched!  It was dinner time!

Sunday, 15 May - 75 of 365
The backyard oasis is ready for summer! Now to only get rid of the pollen, so I could enjoy it more!

Saturday, 14 May - 74 of 365
Reading is so much fun when there are no more books left on the book shelf!

Friday, 13 May - 73 of 365
Happy Birthday Daddy!!!  I will post a separate blog entry for Corey's birthday.  But here is a sneak peak...

Thursday, 12 May - 72 of 365
I got home from my business trip today!  Figured I would get a huge welcoming from Cooper - not so much!  Gave me a quick hug and kiss and then ran back to Allie to continue their game in the yard.  However, Tucker was ecstatic to see me.  He squealed and flapped his arms until I picked him up. Once, I picked him up he gave me his first real hug.  He would squeeze my neck, pat my back and then look up at me a smile.  It was awesome!!!  He would not let me put him down and gradually fell asleep in my arms.  I think he missed me a little... and we thought he was Daddy's boy!  So, my picture of the day is of me and Tucker, courtesy of Corey.

Tuesday, 10 May - 70 of 365 and Wednesday, 11 May - 71 of 365
I took a hiatus from my camera for two days - I was on business travel in Virginia Beach. Got to spend a great couple of days with Heather, Matt and Marshall!  Thanks for letting me crash for the week!

Monday, 9 May - 69 of 365
Cooper's first Pee Wee Paddler swim class. The first class was a battle, but hopefully the next one will be better!  Cooper was too busy splashing the other kids and just wanted to play on the slides (the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and I am not implying me).  Corey told him that if he wanted to go to Cancun again, he had to learn how to swim, do a better job listening and paying attention in his next class...

Happy Mother's Day to ME!!!!

My Boys - My Life!!!  I am so glad I am their Momma!
Our Mother's Day craft which now hangs on my bedroom walls!
Love that face and those dimples!
Cooper hanging out with his rocks!
The boys took their first bath together on Mother's day!  Cooper loved pouring water on Tucker's head, which Tucker absolutely hated!

Saturday, 7 May - 67 of 365
I selected two photos for this day...
1) Because this is the typical reaction I receive from the boys (including Daddy) when I pick up my camera to take a picture of them. "Awe! Come on Ma, no more pictures!"

 2) Tucker decided he finally likes puffs, cheese doodles and Mum Mums!  Now if only he could get some teeth, we could move onto real food.

Cooper being man handled by his little brother.

Look at that face!!! Awe!

---Wednesday, May 4, 2011--- (65 of 365)

Cooper's school had their Mother's Day play.  His class danced to roller coaster of love.  He searched the crowd high and low until he found Allie and I.  After he found us he couldn't stop smiling, staring and waving at us.  He did a great job!

Another "Go. Dog. Go." moment with the boys!
"Do you like my hat?"
"No.  I do not like your hat."
"Goodbye, then."
"Goodbye."

On another note, doesn't Tucker look like one of the Grumpy Old Men.

---Monday, May 2, 2011--- (63 of 365)

Who can resist that face???  His Momma sure can't!
Tucker Shea says put a duck in it!

---Sunday, May 1, 2011--- (62 of 365)

Cooper and Nina right before she left.  Cooper smiling on the outside but very sad on the inside.  An hour later Corey left to go to the beach with his buddies.  To head off a melt down Allie and I took the boys to ToysRUs for their first visit ever.  Cooper was in over stimulation!  The nice manager gave him a Geoffrey balloon when he heard it was his first time at the store!

---Saturday, April 30, 2011--- (61 of 365)

Cooper loves Murphy!  He told all of his teachers at school that Murphy picked him up from the hospital after his surgery!  If only his teachers knew Murphy was a dog! Haha!
Cooper and Nina doing the Hansel and Gretal dance.

---Friday, April 29, 2011---(60 of 365)

We are very appreciative of Nina and Gramps who came and stayed the week with us to help after Cooper's surgery!
Cooper gets a little wild with Gramps!  Who knows what he was doing!  You could not even tell he had surgery that week.
 Nina and her boys!
Cooper said this wasn't his first rodeo with tubes!

Look who's pulling up and standing by himself!!!!

---Wednesday, April 27, 2011-- (58 of 365)

One day after surgery and this is what Cooper's up to...

He's back to normal, well he never really was down from his surgery!  This is how he and Gramps spent their day - chasing bubbles in the back yard. Cooper got a giant bubble machine and the Hallmark Cooper's set of books for being so brave and doing such a great job with his surgery!

---Tuesday, April 26, 2011--- (57 of 365)

Cooper had his second set of tubes inserted and his adenoids removed today.  He did great with the surgery!  He is a little trooper!!!

---Monday, 25 April, 2011--- (56 of 365)

Tucker is back on his nebulizer.  He grabs the mask and pulls it towards his face.  He loves it!  He definitely knows it helps him breath.  So precious!
Corey caught a picture of our new little pet taking a drink from the pond first thing in the AM.  Hope he doesn't get into my garden when I finally plant it!

---Sunday, April 24, 2011--- (55 of 365)

The loot the Easter Bunny and Nina left for the boys!
Cooper was shocked and a little bashful - it's like Christmas all over again!
 Tucker with his baskets!

Cooper showing off his Easter goodies!
Tucker watched Cooper dig into his baskets with awe.  Once it was his turn he tore through his Easter baskets, especially Nina's which was filled with toys, like he knew exactly what he was suppose to do.  Happy 1st Easter Tucker Shea!!!

Cooper and Nina coloring Easter eggs.  After egg two, where Cooper splashed Nina and overflowed the dye cup, Cooper's attention span was gone.  So, Nina colored all of the eggs by herself!

No family pictures this Easter.  Corey came down with bronchitis and walking pneumonia and was in bed all day.  Hopefully we can recreate a family picture next Saturday/Sunday.

---Saturday, April 23, 2011--- (54 of 365)

With the help of Nina, Cooper participated in his very first egg hunt at South Riding.  In past years we have gotten there five minutes too late and all of the eggs were gone.  So this year I ensured we were there early - to be exact Cooper was the second kid in line!
Eggs! Eggs! Everywhere!  They hid 15,000 eggs for 0-3 year olds and then 45 minutes later hid another 15,000 eggs for the older kids.  Well, hid is not the exact term I should use - more like scattered.
Cooper giving Peter Cottontail a high five!
Look Momma, I got 37 eggs all by myself!!!!  Cooper had a blast!  He was very tentative and selective of the particular colors of eggs that he wanted to collect.  We have another egg hunt next Saturday, so hopefully he will be a little more aggressive and less selective.
Nina and Cooper with Petunia the Easter Bunny!
Cooper posing before we headed to the mall to have the boys picture taken with the Easter Bunny, aka Harry!  Cooper was amazed the he saw three Easter Bunnies in one day and they were all different colors - white, gray and brown.
Tucker sitting like a big boy in the shopping cart.  This picture reminds me of the movie Risky Business with Tom Cruise.  Must be the button up shirt and diaper.  HaHa!
