Halloween Night

Jeanie, Allie, Jessie, Campbell, Cooper and I went trick-or-treating in Jeanie & Lee's neighborhood. Lee and Corey stayed at the house to hand out candy to the kids, watch football and take naps. Unfortunately, we got a late start due to the UVA game so we only were able to hit 7 or so houses. Campbell dressed up as Michael Jackson and Cooper was her monkey Bubbles. Campbell's costume was awesome!! We only had one minor problem, Cooper was afraid of Campbell with her wig and sunglasses on. Haha!

Cooper got the hang of trick-or-treating very quickly. The first house we went to he did not realize that you had to stop and the front door. He went right on in and made himself at home. Thankfully the little old lady didn't mind and thought it was cute. Around the third house he started saying "treat" and holding his hand out for candy. He still wanted to go into people's houses but Allie and Campbell were there to hold him back.

It was a successful night - Campbell got tons of candy and Lee's sister, Beth, made Cooper his very own Halloween bag filled with Gerber graduate snacks and treats that Cooper could enjoy! Thanks Beth!!!!

Four UVA fans put on scary masks and walked around the tailgates to hand out candy to the kids. Cooper was a little timid at first but once he saw the bucket of candy he became fearless.

UVA Homecoming

Yesterday, was the UVA Homecoming Football Game versus Indiana. Jackie and Bob could not make the game because they were having dinner with Chris & Andrew (the guy who chopped off Bob's finger when they were little). So, we had extra tickets and asked Uncle Chris, Campbell and Jake to join us for the game.

It was a great day - great company; UVA killed Indiana 47-7; and delicious food!!! Cooper loved hanging out with Campbell (aka - Mammal) - he had to sit on her lap during the game and on the walk back he held her hand the entire way. I think if Isaiah catches wind of this he really is not going to like Cooper - Haha!

I think Campbell enjoyed her first UVA football game - can you believe she even wore a UVA sweatshirt (courtesy of Corey). Who knows we might make her a UVA fan after all!!!
